This Privacy Policy explains how Stateli LLC (“Stateli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you use our websites, applications, public property campaign pages, emails, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). It covers two groups of people: customers (real-estate agents, brokerages, and their team members who hold Stateli accounts) and visitors and contacts (home buyers, buyer agents, neighbors, open-house guests, and others who view a campaign or receive a message sent through Stateli). This Policy should be read with our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
From customers
- Account information, such as name, email address, password credentials, phone number, brokerage or organization, license or MLS agent ID, profile photo, and public profile details.
- Listing and campaign information, such as property addresses, prices, facts, descriptions, photographs, videos, 3D scans, floor plans, measurements, nearby places, branding, prompts, edits, and publication settings.
- Contacts you upload or enter, such as the names and email addresses of neighbors, prospective buyers, or other people you ask us to email on your behalf.
- Connected accounts, such as authorization to post to social media accounts you link, and custom domains you connect.
- Transaction and support information, such as orders, invoices, billing status, correspondence, and feedback. Payment card information, if collected, is handled by our payment provider.
From visitors and contacts
- Inquiries and sign-ins, such as name, email address, phone number, message, preferred showing times, and open-house sign-in details.
- Questions you ask on a campaign page, including questions typed into “Ask the Residence” or “Ask about this space,” and rooms you save and send to the agent.
- Home Values questionnaire answers, including the priorities you state and the choices you make, and the preference profile we calculate from them.
- Showing feedback, if you are a buyer’s agent using a feedback link: ratings, typed notes, voice recordings, and transcripts of those recordings.
- Contact details provided by an agent, such as your name and email address, when an agent asks us to send you a message about a property.
Collected automatically
We and our providers collect device, browser, and usage information, such as IP address (which we store in hashed form for campaign analytics), browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs and campaign tags, pages and features viewed, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostic and error information, and interactions with the Services. We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings and saved rooms, secure the Services, and measure use.
2. Campaign pages and visitor activity
Property campaign pages are published by our customers. When you visit one, we record activity such as page views, visits, which rooms you open and how long you spend on them, rooms you save, videos you play, walkthroughs you open, forms you start, and buttons you click. We use this to show the listing agent how their campaign is performing and to produce seller reports.
- Agents see campaign activity, including activity tied to inquiries you submit. Sellers receive aggregated summaries that do not identify individual visitors.
- If an agent sends you a private link created for you, visits through that link are attributed to you and shown to that agent.
- If you complete the Home Values questionnaire, your results are emailed to you if you request them and are shared with the agent, and may be attached to your inquiry so the agent can prepare for a conversation or showing. We do not use these results to make decisions about credit, lending, insurance, housing eligibility, or any other legal or similarly significant decision, and we do not score properties or people on protected characteristics.
- Questions you ask on a campaign page are answered automatically from the listing information the agent provided. Questions the page cannot answer, and any question submitted with your contact details, are sent to the agent as an inquiry.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Services;
- create, edit, host, publish, distribute, and measure property campaigns and requested media;
- use automated systems and artificial intelligence to classify images, write and edit copy, describe rooms, answer visitor questions from agent-provided facts, transcribe and tidy voice notes, produce narration, flag potential fair-housing or unsupported claims, and generate images and video;
- deliver inquiries, sign-ins, questionnaire results, and showing feedback to the right agent;
- send emails that customers write or approve, and honor unsubscribe requests;
- post to social accounts a customer has connected, only when that customer approves the post;
- authenticate users, administer accounts, process transactions, and provide support;
- monitor, troubleshoot, secure, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms;
- communicate about the Services, updates, security, and transactions;
- conduct analytics, testing, and product development, including with aggregated or de-identified data; and
- enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims.
4. How we disclose information
- Agents, brokerages, and sellers. We share visitor inquiries, questions, questionnaire results, feedback, and campaign activity with the agent and brokerage that published the campaign, and aggregated reports with the seller the agent designates. Their use of that information is governed by their own practices, not this Policy.
- Service providers. We use providers for hosting and databases, file storage and delivery, background processing, authentication, email delivery, product analytics and error monitoring, AI text and image generation, image and video processing, audio transcription, voice narration, social posting, and payments. These currently include Railway, Cloudflare, Trigger.dev, Resend, PostHog, OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to (such as Anthropic and Google), Fal, Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, and Ayrshare. We may change providers as the Services evolve.
- Public audiences. Campaigns, agent profiles, and posts a customer publishes may be seen by anyone and may be indexed, copied, or shared by others.
- Professional advisers. Auditors, insurers, attorneys, and consultants where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities and protective disclosures. Where we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or appropriate to enforce agreements, collect amounts owed, investigate fraud or security issues, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Stateli, our users, or others.
- Corporate transactions. In connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, including during diligence.
- With direction or consent. As you request or otherwise authorize.
5. Artificial intelligence
To provide AI features, listing details, photos, prompts, visitor questions, voice recordings, and other content may be sent to AI and media providers for processing. We configure these services to process content to provide the Services; provider retention varies by service and contract. Generated results may be stored with the campaign. Customers review and approve AI-drafted emails, social posts, and seller-facing materials before they are sent or shared. Do not submit sensitive personal information you are not authorized to share.
6. Email we send on behalf of agents
Customers can ask us to email people they know, such as neighbors of a listing, buyers who made offers, open-house guests, or buyers who asked to hear about similar homes. The agent provides the contact details and approves each message; replies go to the agent. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe link, and we suppress future marketing email to addresses that unsubscribe. We do not send text messages through the Services. If you received a message from an agent through Stateli, contact that agent about how they obtained your information.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and local storage needed for sign-in, security, settings, saved rooms, and core functionality. We also use PostHog to measure page views, clicks, and errors so we can improve the Services. We do not record session replays. Browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, but parts of the Services may stop working. Where required, we will offer additional choices or request consent.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts and campaigns, complete transactions, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and prevent abuse. Customers may delete listings and campaigns through the Services. Unsubscribe records are kept so we can continue honoring them. Information may remain for a limited period in backups and logs, and public content may remain in third-party copies or search engines beyond our control.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
10. Your choices
- Customers can update account, listing, and campaign information and unpublish content in the Services.
- Anyone can use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email we send; we may still send transactional messages.
- You can choose not to submit an inquiry, questionnaire, or feedback; campaign pages remain viewable.
- You can manage cookies through browser or device settings.
11. U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information; access, correct, or delete it; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. You may also appeal a denied request and may not be discriminated against for exercising a right.
To make a request, email privacy@stateli.com with your request and state of residence. We may need to verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. Where we process information on behalf of an agent or brokerage, such as leads and campaign activity, we may refer your request to them or act on their instructions.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
12. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Account holders must be at least 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
13. Where we process information
Stateli is based in the United States, and we and our providers process information in the United States and may process it in other countries whose laws may differ from those where you live.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the updated version and revise the date above, and provide additional notice of material changes where required by law.
